Help reform the crumbling tower with your bright ideas

lets say that the watchtower approached you to help them be more successful, so that more people join and be happier jw's.. what would you suggest?.

Some things just need to be discarded in total. The WT is one of those things. It is not salvageable.

i am getting away for a moment from congacs forum to talk about what i have reaserched about the blood topic.. blood is composed of a liquid called blood plasma and blood cells suspended within the plasma.

the blood cells present in blood are red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.plasma is predominantly water containing dissolved proteins, salts and many other substances; and makes up about 55% of blood by volume.

by far the most abundant cells in blood are red blood cells.

You know, it would be so much easier if it had been written clearly in the first place:

Leviticus 17:11 says "the life of a creature is in the - four major components of - blood." Also we read; "He shall pour out its - four major components of - blood and cover it with earth. . . . You shall not partake of the - four major components of - blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its - four major components of - blood. Anyone who partakes of - one or more of these four major components of blood - shall be cut off."— Leviticus 17:13,14.

Really then, wouldn't THAT be so much easier to understand?

Imponderables -- Why would God Almighty Need a Day of Rest?

another thread reminded me of some of the things i used to think about growing up.

here are some of the things i used to think about back when i was a doubting jw.... why would an omnipotent all-powerful god need a seventh day of rest?

and if he was everlasting to everlasting, don't you think he was already bored with resting and that's why he started creating in the first place?

To give time for that which had been created to marvel at that which had been created.

Do you think though that perhaps humans have been so troublesome that god has decided on a four day work week yet? And what about extended vacations? Sick leave?

Has the subject of insurance come up in heaven so as to mitigate the harm that humans have caused to creation?
Man, I wish now I hadn't read this thread... So many unimponderable things to ponder.

Who had the HOTS for YOU?

a number of years ago, there was a large group of us that went to an unasigned territory.

many of us stayed at a small motel, motel 8, 6, 666 something like that, others camped out.

so, most of those that stayed at the motel were in the in group.

I read Al Kooper's memoirs, Backstage Passes & Backstabbing Bastards a while back. Very interesting and those really were some strange days. I had seen his name numerous times but I'm not the type that generally delves into the names behind the music and I knew nothing of him.

Perhaps when you exist as a spirit you will be able to actually BE part of that smelly old food, that Strad fiddle, truly FLY even through the northern lights. Think of this too, the ability to go mess with all these humans that think spirits exist...nevermind that one. How about making crop circles? That's got to be high on a spirits to do list right after opening doors when people aren't looking. So many other worldly options.
